2023 Junction Front Row Reserve

776 bottle limited release. John Ashworth was All Black number 776, a formidable front row forward who played for the All Black from 1977 to 1985 with a total of 24 tests. The Front Row Pinot Noir was barrel aged in French oak for 18 months with 50% new oak, this wine packs all the punch of this Front Row with smooth edges from age and will get better with time in bottle.

This Central Hawke’s Bay Pinot Noir is a rich full-bodied wine with intense flavours of red berry, dark plum and earthy notes. The Well-integrated spice and oak give this wine great complexity, with long smooth tannins making every glass enjoyable.
