Wine-Specific Conditions
Legal Requirements
You must be a New Zealand resident and 18 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Ash Ridge Wines Ltd. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 18 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Ash Ridge Wines Ltd are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.
Credit Card Charges
Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
Countries Authorized for Direct Shipment
Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we do not supply alcohol beverages for international markets directly through this website. We can however arrange for the the sale and shipment of our products through a third party. Please note, when dealing through a third party, wine prices, discounts, and shipping costs may differ from those quoted by Ash Ridge Wines Ltd.
Shipping Costs/Delivery
Courier shipping is provided by Toll New Zealand at a fixed rate for the whole country. Extra charges may apply if you address is considered a Rural Delivery. All orders will be shipped within two working days, expect courier delivery within two to five working days.
Authority To Leave
We do not endorese or recommend that you give authority to leave for your wine shipments. Wine shipments do require a signature for acceptance. If you do give the courier company or Rural Post aothourity to leave your shipment your waive your rights to any claims for lost or damaged parcels. Ash Ridge Wines Ltd. is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged or lost.
Wine is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Ash Ridge Wines Ltd. is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
